Kristi Estrada, MAPC, CFTP, LPC-S, is a Gracious Community Connector, Mobilizer, and Disruptor, dedicated to cultivating Trauma Restorative Care™ as a movement. As a Servant Leader, Kristi brings a profound lifelong interest in health and healing to her roles as a therapist and educator. Her passion lies in supporting individuals, couples, and families grappling with a spectrum of distressing symptoms, always approaching her work with an empathic and curious spirit.
Kristi Estrada leads with a strengths-based, Trauma Restorative Care™, systems approach to treating mood disorders, addiction, trauma, self-harm, anxiety disorders, and other mental health conditions. Beyond individual care, Kristi is deeply committed to serving others through therapist supervision, professional education, speaking engagements, and advocacy for better public awareness of mental health issues.
Informed by diverse therapeutic approaches, Kristi's practice is most profoundly influenced by Somatic Experiencing® (SE™), a body-based, psychobiological understanding of human beings. SE™ provides invaluable insights into facilitating the natural re-balancing of the nervous system and mind, a focal point in Kristi's extensive training. Her commitment to reconnecting the body and mind brings a transformative freshness and fullness described by many as life-changing.
“As a therapist, I focus on assisting the client to develop skills to help them feel grounded in their daily life; to relieve the body memories and mental images connected to the trauma and releasing their influence on their current life and find joy in living.”
